Hyploc is a verified peer-to-peer sharing platform built for Swedish BRFs — helping neighbours share goods, skills and time, safely and conveniently.

The problem
Swedish households are full of tools, furniture and skills that neighbours would happily share — but there's no trusted, local way to do it.
96.6% of materials still follow a linear path to incineration or landfill — despite world-class recycling infrastructure. Sharing and reuse is the highest-value intervention. Source: Circularity Gap Report Sweden, 2022 ↗
Residents are willing to give items to a trusted neighbour. National platforms like Blocket connect anonymous strangers — creating friction that kills local exchange.
Your BRF already has governance, shared spaces and a social fabric. Yet no platform puts that trust infrastructure to work for everyday sharing between neighbours.
Residents buy things their neighbours already own. A shared drill, a borrowed ladder, a loaned bike — small acts that save money and reduce waste at every level.
“We had a drill collecting dust for three years. The moment we could post it to a trusted neighbour group, it was borrowed the same week. We met people on our floor we'd never spoken to.”
— BRF resident, Malmö
Our solution
Hyploc is built exclusively for communities that already know each other. Every member is verified with BankID, invited by their own board, and stays within their own association.
BankID login + board invitation. No public sign-up, no anonymous users.
List something to give, lend or swap — or ask for a skill, recommendation or favour.
Within your association only. No strangers, no shipping, no platform fees.
Every exchange is logged: items circulated, CO₂e saved, connections made.
Research consistently shows that neighbourhoods where residents interact regularly and positively experience lower rates of social isolation, vandalism and petty crime. When people know each other by name — and have a reason to help each other — communities become more resilient and safe. Hyploc creates those everyday reasons to connect.
How it works
Borrow, lend or swap items between verified residents.
Pool tools, spaces or time for mutual use.
Pass on items you no longer need — free and frictionless.
Skills, recommendations, dog-watching, carpooling and more.
Fast-track urgent, time-critical requests within the building.

Why Hyploc
The pilot
We're launching a 12-month pilot with five BRF associations in Malmö. Pilot participants get free access, hands-on support from our team, and a full impact report at the end.
Months 1–3
Months 4–10
Months 11–12
We're looking for BRF boards willing to invite their residents, try the platform, and share honest feedback. No cost, no obligation beyond participation.
Who we are
Hyploc is built by the same team behind Cohabit AB — a circular furniture rental business for international students in Sweden. We know what it takes to make sharing work in practice, not just in theory.
We have 5 pilot spots available. If your board is curious, the best step is a short conversation — no commitment required.
